Project Overview
The EarlyBrain project aims to provide parents and relatives of children with developmental disorders with specific knowledge and skills to promote the development of their children. The project is continuously evolving with contributions from partners and experts across Europe.
Objectives
- improving understanding of early childhood brain development.
- increasing the competences, skills and strategies of caregivers to identify problems and/or deficits early on.
- managing children’s behavior during daily routines and to improve their skills to engage their children in play and social interaction, thus contributing to the perception of self-efficacy and increased well-being
- developing resources for parents, educators, and caregivers and policy recommendations for decision makers.
Gestalt Italy plays a central role in:
- research & content development: creating educational materials based on expert research.
- workshops: facilitating training sessions with parents, educators, and caregivers.
- research & validation: organizing and collaborating in performing activities to validate effective practices.
